Class Description
This class goes beyond the SLED required course and qualification exam by preparing and guiding the student for the concealed carry lifestyle. This is not your typical CWP class. You will leave this class with a completely different mindset that will practically eliminate you from becoming a victim in the first place. Students are given a comprehensive resource packet to take home that summarizes the content of the class. The packet also includes the completed application and instructions with how to process with SLED.
Requirements
Students are expected to have at least a fundamental level of proficiency in shooting and operating a pistol to pass the shooting portion of the SLED qualification.
This is not a shooting class.
We offer our Beginners Pistol course and our Beginners Pistol Plus CWP course for those that may need this training.
A pistol you can operate independently, holster, ear and eye protection, and at least 25 rounds of ammunition are required. Gun rentals consisting of a pistol, holster, eye protection and ear protection are available to rent for $10. Ammo in 9mm, 380ACP, 40 S&W, and .22LR is available to purchase in the class if it’s more convenient for you.
