SC CWP & The Concealed Lifestyle is a unique CWP class unlike any other CWP classes offered in the Greater Columbia area. This class expects and requires the student to be proficient with a handgun prior to taking the class.
This is not a shooting class or one that teaches how to shoot.

Class is held at Mid-Carolina Rifle Club, 3435 Fish Hatchery Rd., Gaston, SC 29053, not far from Columbia Metropolitan Airport.

Class Description

SC CWP & The Concealed Lifestyle is a unique class unlike any other CWP classes offered in the Columbia area. This class goes beyond the SLED required course and qualification exam by preparing and guiding the student for the concealed carry lifestyle.

Students are given a comprehensive resource packet to take home that summarizes the content of the class as well as a list of invaluable resources to aid in the concealed carry lifestyle. The packet also includes the completed application and instructions regarding how to process with SLED.

Requirements

Students are expected to have at least a fundamental level of proficiency in shooting and operating a pistol to pass the shooting portion of the SLED qualification.

This is not a shooting class.
We offer our Firearms Safety and Shooting Fundamentals course for those that may need this training.

A pistol you can operate independently, holster, ear and eye protection, and at least 25 rounds of ammunition are required. A Gear Pack consisting of a pistol, holster, eyes and ears is available to rent for a $10. Ammo in 9mm, 380ACP, and .22LR is available to purchase in the class if it’s more convenient for you.

Training will take place at Mid Carolina Rifle Club – 3435 Fish Hatchery Road, Gaston, SC 29053

This class starts at 8am and ends at 5:30pm +/- depending on class size. We cover a lot of material.

Terms

Tuition paid in full is refundable provided notice is given to Safe Family Defense LLC five (5) days before class start. Deposits/range fees are non-refundable within three (3) days of class. Rescheduling in this case will incur another deposit and range fee. Reschedules: Enrolled clients are permitted to reschedule one (1) time. Failure to show up to the rescheduled date forfeits any tuition or deposits already paid. No additional reschedules will be allowed. Safe Family Defense LLC reserves the right to reschedule any class due to low enrollment or severe weather.
