Firearms Safety and Shooting Fundamentals is firearms training for beginners or those considering getting their CWP with little experience.

Class Time – 10:30 – 2:00



Firearms Safety and Shooting Fundamentals is a class geared towards those that are new to handguns and are interested in learning gun safety and how to shoot. It is also excellent for those that are considering getting their Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP), but have no knowledge or experience with handguns. The idea is to get the student to the point where they are proficient with a pistol and are poised to pass the SLED CWP shooting qualification required to apply for a South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit if desired.

Tuition is $109.00 for this class. A gun rental that includes eye, and ear protection is available for $10 in class. Ammunition is available for purchase.

A deposit of $19 is collected upon enrollment per student with the tuition balance due the day of class.
Please have cash for your instructor to cover the tuition balance. We are unable to process credit cards in class at this time. An ATM is provided at the training center for your convenience.

A facility fee of $10.00 is added and prepaid at checkout.

Deposit and range fee are forfeited if student cancels within 3 days of class date.

Other Particulars

This class entails 3+ hours of training to complete each of the above components.
The class is held at Kilo Charlie Shooting Range and is geared for no more than 3 or 4 students at a time.
The class promptly starts at the time indicated.
